What's it all about?

Christian Slater stars in David Mamet’s acclaimed masterpiece, Glengarry Glen Ross, returning to London’s West End this Autumn for its first major revival in over a decade. This ground-breaking modern classic has won every major dramatic award on Broadway and in the West End, including the 1983 Olivier Award for Best Play and the 1984 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and was later adapted by Mamet for the 1992 film starring Jack Lemmon and Al Pacino.

Lies. Greed. Corruption. It’s business as usual.

What's the story?

David Mamet's modern classic Glengarry Glen Ross is set in an office of cut-throat Chicago salesmen. Pitched in a high-stakes competition against each other, they will do anything, legal or otherwise, to sell the most real estate. As time and luck start to run out, the mantra is simple: close the deal and you've won a Cadillac; blow the lead and you're f***d.

Who's in it?

Broadway’s Christian Slater plays smooth-talking Ricky Roma. Slater recently won a Golden Globe and a Critic’s Choice award for his role in ‘Mr Robot’, for which he is also a producer. He was last on the London stage in Swimming with Sharks at the Vaudeville Theatre and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the Gielgud/Garrick Theatre. Other theatre credits include Spamalot and The Glass Menagerie.

Slater is joined by Kris Marshall, Don Warrington, Robert Glenister, Stanley Townsend, Daniel Ryan and Oliver Ryan.

Marshall plays office manager John Williamson and is most well-known for his portrayal of Nick Harper in ‘My Family’, for which he received the Best Newcomer award at the 2002 British Comedy Awards, Colin Frissell in ‘Love Actually’, and DI Humphrey Goodman in ‘Death in Paradise’.

Warrington (George Aaronow) has appeared in King Lear and All My Sons at the Royal Exchange, the UK tour of Driving Miss Daisy, and A Statement of Regret and The Mysteries at the National Theatre. TV credits include ‘Death In Paradise’, ‘Lewis’, ‘Casualty’, ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Doctor Who’.

Glenister (Dave Moss) is known for playing Ash Morgan in BBC One’s ‘Hustle’, and Nicholas Blake in ‘Spooks’. His stage credits include Great Britain, Blue Remembered Hills and Ting Tang Mine. Townsend’s (Shelley 'The Machine' Levene) recent theatre credits include The Girl from the North Country at the Old Vic, and The Nether at the Royal Court/Duke of York’s Theatre.

Daniel Ryan’s (Lingk) stage credits include The House They Grew Up In at the Chichester Festival Theatre, Inadmissible Evidence at the Donmar Warehouse, The Mouse and His Child, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Richard III.

Oliver Ryan’s (Baylen) stage credits include Dr Faustus, As You Like It, Hamlet, Mojo, Little Eagles, Morte D’Arthur and The Grainstore at the RSC.
