What's it all about?
Kings of comedy, Willie Clark (Danny DeVito) and Al Lewis (Richard Griffiths) a.k.a. The Sunshine Boys haven't spoken to each other in years.
When CBS call for the vaudevillian greats to be re-united for a nostalgic History of Comedy, past grudges resurface as they take centre stage once more. Ageing ailments aside, can this legendary double-act overcome their differences for one last show?
Old rivalry and vintage hilarity abound in Neil Simon’s classic comedy of showbiz and friendship.
Who's in it?
Richard Griffiths (The History Boys, Harry Potter) and Danny DeVito (Taxi, Matilda) - in his West End debut - unite to form the vaudevillian team of Lewis and Clark.

Customer Reviews
A really splendid show with DeVito and Griffiths perfectly matched. Need to pick up on pace but this is early days in the run.
one of those rare nights at the theatre when you have seen genius at work - Vito's portrayal will become legendary - and Richard Griffiths was at his best.
The acting was superb....Danny De Vito was tremendous, but I'm biased as I'm a big fan anyway....would thoroughly recommend it.
Low key humour beautifully under-acted by a pair of absolute pros. A joy to watch.
Fantastic show. Great to see such a real legend in danny de Vito perform on the London stage. Richard Griffiths was as always a star performer. Very funny. A great evening!
I ached constantly . They are two very fine actors in their own right, superbly cast as the comedy duo who once were the talk of braodway.Neither is a youngster but they were throwing themselves across the stage in outrageous acting. The next moment there were slight of hand movents which kept the audeince spell bound and one could hear a pin drop.Mr Devito spent two minutes on rearranging his top pocket handerchief in Oliver Hardy style resulting in a round of applause. Mr Griffiths merrily twirled a chair on one leg, the chair not him! during their five plus minute rearranging the stage for rehearsal routine.Along with the comedic routines there was such pathos to reduce the audience to symapthetic silence radiating warmth to the two characters. Needless to say at the end there were curtain calls and a whole theatre standing ovation. And my theatre experience was made very easy by using Theatre people. I had no trouble in collecting my tickets from the box office.Thank you x
