The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe reviews - staff
I liked the style in which it was done, in the round, and all of the effects were very clever and spectacular. I loved the costumes and the puppetry, the Lion was so realistic. I loved all of it, I thought it was really well done and effective - I got completely lost in the story as if I was there with them! Brilliant production!

It was a lovely show - enjoyed by 3 generations from 1 family - Nanny, Mum & Auntie and Grandaughter. It might not have been possible to see it if we had had to pay the full price for tickets, as Nanny and Grandaughter had already been to see Matilda the Musical the week before, so the expense would have been prohibitive - but as you were able to offer half price tickets, it made it possible for us to go - thank you. The production was very well done and lively, and Grandaughter, in particular, aged 9, mainly for whose benefit we all went, loved it.
Kids love it,ages 12 & 8. Impressive use of tent by using tent ceiling as a video screen. The way the lion was created was amazing. The negative was the circular stage meant that depending on where you were seated meant that you could only see the front or back of things, for example we could only see the back of the wardrobe and it took a long time before we saw the face of the lion. Excellent how though.
Wow!! went to see this show with children and we all loved it. The actors, props, effects and "show tent" were all brilliant, oh! and not forgetting the sing-along beforehand too. Enjoyed it so much could sit through it again, Well done!
Enjoyed the show very much costumes were amazing would recomend gioing to see it.
It was brilliant! The props were simple but very effective, timing was superb. The only slight problem was that when sitting in the back row near air-conditioning unit it was difficult to hear what the actors were saying at times.
amazing....my kids said that's something like WOW
