What's it all about?

Open the door and enter a spectacular new world with Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy as they journey through the magical land of Narnia.

Adored by all ages this major new production of the classic story has been created by an award-winning team. The first published installment from CS Lewis' beloved 'Chronicles of Narnia' series, it combines live theatre with Threesixty's ground-breaking surround video and enchanting puppetry performed in a state-of-the art theatre tent.

Set against the backdrop of Kensington Palace, this exquisite event promises to be the ultimate summer experience in the park.

Who's in it?

Currently cast in the lead roles are Sally Dexter as the White Witch (who's already starred in the RSC's The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, as well as in Billy Elliot, Sister Act and Oliver!), Forbes Masson (The High Life, Red Dwarf) as Mr. Tumnus and Brian Protheroe (Broken Glass, The Lord of the Rings) as the Professor.

Suitable for

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a family show through and through - the little tykes will be enchanted by the puppets and the special effects, while the adults can take an enjoyable nostalgia trip to one of the most beloved stories from their childhood - indeed, one of the best ever written. This sensational production will surely not disappoint.

What's the story?

When little Lucy Pevensie wanders into the wardrobe of her temporary home during the Blitz in the English country, she stumbles upon a land beyond her wildest dreams - the fantasy land of Narnia. Ruled over by an evil White Witch, Lucy and her siblings - Peter, Susan and Edmund - must overthrow the regime, bring about justice for the brave lion Aslan and fulfil a prophecy which could change their lives forever.

Staff Reviews

I liked the style in which it was done, in the round, and all of the effects were very clever and spectacular. I loved the costumes and the puppetry, the Lion was so realistic. I loved all of it, I thought it was really well done and effective - I got completely lost in the story as if I was there with them! Brilliant production!
