What's it all about?
Audiences all around the world have been roaring with laughter since Monty Python's Spamalot, by Python man Eric Idle and his musical partner-in-silliness John Du Prez, won the Tony Award for Best Musical in 2005.
With all your favourite bits 'lovingly ripped off' from classic movie comedy Monty Python and the Holy Grail plus lots more new bits to get your teeth into, don't miss your night with the Knights of The Round Table at the most infectiously funny musical of the century.
What's the story?
Spamalot tells the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table and features a bevy (or possibly a brace) of beautiful show girls, witch burnings (Cancelled - too expensive) not to mention cows, killer rabbits and French people.
The show features the hilarious songs He Is Not Dead Yet, Knights of the Round Table, Find Your Grail and of course the Nation's Favourite Comedy Song (Reader's Digest Poll 2009) Always Look On the Bright Side of Life.
Who's in it?
The excellent Robin Armstrong heads the cast as King Arthur, leading his merry band of well-meaning nincompoops on the Greatest Quest Of All.
Bonnie Langford plays the Lady of the Lake, which she played to critical and audience approval during the show's run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in 2012.
Who is Spamalot suitable for?
Spamalot's a little bit saucy here and there, but it's highly unlikely to induce an excess of moral outrage or psychological distress for the more genteel adult theatregoer or younger audience member.

Spamalot has made a glorious return to the West End this year, in a production that’s been acclaimed as even tighter and snappier than the show’s original 2008 London run. This hilarious all-singing, all-dancing show is in residence at the Playhouse Theatre from November.
Show creator and ex-Python Eric Idle, composer John Du Prez and original director Mike Nichols created an uproariously wacky musical that’s destined to keep satisfied audiences at the Playhouse Theatre coming back for more with its mix of unforgettable characters, gags and tunes.
Now’s your chance to see what the fuss is about. Treat yourself to one of our special offers, and the best of Theatreland is just a click away. Book your seats for Spamalot at the Playhouse Theatre today.

Spamalot is very fun, clever, witty and full of energy! I also like the way they make the audience feel so involved. I'd recommend it to anyone (except younger children due to some content) and especially Monty Python fans! Spamtastic!
It was funny as hell, and the cast seemed to enjoy it as much as we did. The Eurostar and the Wind Turbine built into the set were particular highlight. If anyone is looking for an insight into wacky british humour, this is the show for you. Go with a light heart, and make sure you’re open to British quirkiness.
Nice costumes and settings, bright and bubbly. It's a great show for People that enjoy comedy. It was Funny, easy to understand and enjoyable!

we are monty python fans and for us this show was bliss! The cast are wonderful and the staging and theatrical effects are briliant. I laughed all the way through, joined in the singing and left the theatre with a warm glow of happiness in my soul - Eric Idle deserves every penny that he is wringing from the middle class nostalgists who fill the theatre and force their children to accompany them.
A very energetic and fun show. Loved it!
loved it.
This was a fun evening that brought back many memories of our youth. A great show and well worth the journey south from Northumberland.
The musical was great, pretty much laughing all the way through. Especially the second act it was even funnier with the lyrics! Love it, only wish the play was longer.
