Parisian cabaret Le Crazy Horse Saloon (aka Le Crazy Horse de Paris) is known both for its risqué, seductive stage shows performed by nude female dancers and for the diverse range of magic and variety it presents between each show.
The original Crazy Horse in Paris occupies former wine cellars in an impressive building on Avenue George V and is where Forever Crazy was first performed.
Alain Bernardin opened the venue in 1951 and personally operated it for decades until his death in 1994. Since then the enterprise has remained a family business in the hands of Bernardin's three grown-up children.
Dancers for the shows are deliberately chosen to have the same height and vital statistics so that they are indistinguishable from one another on stage.
