What's it all about?

Direct from a sell-out run at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie comes to London’s Apollo Theatre from November 2017. With catchy new songs by Dan Gillespie Sells of The Feeling and writer Tom MacRae, this new musical will have you talking for years to come.

What's the story?

Jamie New is sixteen, from Sheffield, and has a secret. And he is going to be a sensation. With the support of his mum and closest friends, James attempts to overcome prejudice and bullies to step out of the darkness and into the showbiz spotlight – where he belongs. A life-affirming story from the edge of possibility – dreams can come true.

Who's in it?

John McCrea will reprise his performance as Jamie New, and is joined by Josie Walker, Mina Anwar, Tamsin Carroll, Daniel Anthony, Luke Baker, Courtney Bowman, James Gillian, Harriet Payne, Shiv Rabheru, Lucie Shorthouse and Kirstie Skivington, all of whom performed in the show in Sheffield.
