BalletBoyz: The Talent
Now Closed
What's it all about?
Following rave reviews in 2011, the BalletBoyz are back with their mixed programme ‘The Talent’ for the new year. The set is made up of three components: Paul Roberts' Alpha; Russell Maliphant's Torsion, one of BalletBoyz' signature pieces re-worked as a thrilling sextet; and completing the line-up is Void, an adrenaline fuelled ensemble piece choreographed by Jarek Cemerek. Jarek beat 160 other choreographers from all over the world to have the honour of his piece being added to the Boyz’s repertoire.
Former lead dancers for The Royal Ballet, Michael Nunn and William Trevitt, have had a dramatic impact on the British dance scene since forming BalletBoyz in 2001. The Talent look set to replicate that success after the extraordinary critical and popular reaction to their award-winning first UK tour in 2011.
Who's in it?
Adam, Anthony, Ed, Leon, Luke, Matt, Miguel and Taylor are the remarkable dancers who were handpicked from open auditions by BalletBoyz to star in this explosive feast of live dance.
Suitable for
Both fans of classical ballet and street dance – but especially both! – will be appeased in this exquisitely choreographed show with a modern edge.

What the critics say
These new kids on the block will be around for some time
This is dance at its most riveting and fearless. Talent? I should say so
