A Chorus Line is a fantastic revival of show that contains great music but also very exciting and energetic dance numbers. The characters are quite compelling when telling their background stories throughout the audition process and identify the ups and downs of being a performer. Going to A Chorus Line is a great chance to see such a great classic musical in London's West End.
A spectacular production, cast with a tremendous group of triple-threat dancer/singer/actors. The best dancing (and dancers) in the West End since the show Fosse, way back in the late 90s. I’d forgotten how iconic this show is – from the very first bars of music, the audience excitement is palpable. I was deeply moved by the end – you become so attached to each character you meet. All in all, an uplifting and truly inspiring evening about the blood sweat, and tears that go into achieving your dream.
Good cast, good dancing with a simple yet effective set. The show gives a quick glimpse into the lives of 19 dancers, all struggling to make it on Broadway. Excellent performances from John Partridge and Scarlett Strallen.
The theatre is lovely, great stage, large enough to see everyone on each side. The show had funny moments, with Lovely songs and a great cast.

I was disappointed that the show I had selected was cancelled. I had to change my option and select another show. That was an excellent choice as I'm told (it was a birthday present) it was a superb show. Thank you.
I appreciate that I saw the show on only its second preview, but having seen the originals both on Broadway and in London, I thought it somewhat lacklustre. There seemed to be no oomph about it until the very end; the 'curtain call' was fantastic. John Partridge played Zach extremely well with just the right level of authority plus he showed us that he could actually do what he was asking of the others. Something I don't remember from previous productions. Leigh Zimmerman, Scarlett Strallen and Victoria Hamilton-Barritt stood head and shoulders above the others in stage presence and ability.
Terrific cast, fantastic presentation, good voices and superb dancers - the show's only weaker point are the songs themselves, which is not the fault of a fabulous cast. Its 2 hrs of spellbinding, gripping talented performances of material that could be stronger.
Saw it first time around. Still hot. Loved it again.
Excellent show, with wonderfl dancing and singing. John Patridge held the show togther wonderfully.

Did You Know?
This current West End revival of A Chorus Line marks the first time the musical has been performed in London since 1975.
The groundbreaking, multi-awarding winning show made waves from the word go. Its off-Broadway opening at the Public Theatre in 1975 created such tremendous word-of-mouth that the entire run sold out immediately.
On 29 September 1983 A Chorus Line had its 3389th performance and became the longest running show in Broadway history at that time. It had its 6137th and final performance on the GreatWhite Way on 28 April 1990 and remains the sixth longest running show ever.
During A Chorus Line’s original workshop sessions, random characters would be chosen at the end for the chorus jobs, resulting in genuine surprise among the cast. Subsequent productions, however, have the same set of characters winning the parts at the end.
During A Chorus Line’s early previews, composer Marvin Hamlisch felt that audiences seemed unsure about the show’s ending. In response to this observation, actress Marsha Mason told Bennett that the character Cassie should be among the successful few to get a slot in the chorus line because “she did everything right”. Bennett amended the script so that Cassie won the part.
