The line-up includes The Bodyguard’s leading ladies Heather Headley (pictured) and Debbie Kurup (pictured), Former Chicago stars Denise van Outen and Tiffany Graves, Wicked’s Katie Rowley-Jones, Kiss Me Kate leading man Alex Bourne, Mamma Mia’s Ian Knauer, Phantom of the Opera’s Marcus Lovett, Shona Lindsay and Tabitha Webb, and Broadway actress Kristen Beth Williams, who has just taken over the role of Dale Tremont in Top Hat.
This year’s gala will be hosted by Alan Titchmarsh, while distinguished West End maestros David Firman and Stuart Morley are the concert’s musical supervisors.
The Night of 1000 Stars will pay homage to the music of the great Broadway producer and director, Harold ‘Hal’ Prince. Fans can expect to hear classic songs from West Side Story, Evita, The Phantom of the Opera, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, A Little Night Music, Sweeney Todd, Follies, Cabaret and Parade.
The evening aims to raise funds for the Caron Keating Foundation, which provides grants to families throughout Britain who are affected by cancer.
